I love that abstract art allows you to feel an emotional connection to an unidentified image. Through the layers of paint, I am giving the piece a story to tell. I create physical depth that makes you want to reach out and touch the canvas. The majority of my work can be found in acrylic paint, though I often add mixed media for deeper character. I utilize pallet knives and minimize visible brush strokes to achieve an organic feel.
